Position Summary

Working as a member of the Site Operations Group (SO), the Patient Recruitment Specialist (PRS) will provide trial and special project support. This position also proactively develops and executes patient recruitment and retention plans for future and ongoing trials. This position manages relevant vendors to achieve trial priorities as well as identifies and resolves technical operational problems relating to patient recruitment and retention activities. The number of trials and projects assigned will depend on the complexity and needs of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Vendor Management: Screen, collect and track information on relevant patient recruitment vendors; Manage relevant patient recruitment vendors in support of clinical trial enrollment deliverables
  • Training: Supports the development of basic and advanced training materials on patient recruitment and retention strategy.
  • Site Patient Recruitment. Retention and Communications: Assist with development of patient recruitment/retention materials as needed; Collaborate with CML and CRA to educate site on patient recruitment/retention tools
  • Budget: Collaborate with TCM/CML in the development of the recruitment/retention budget, as appropriate.
  • Team Meetings: Participate in the local kick-off meeting as a representative of Site Operations, Patient Recruitment Participate as needed in trial team meetings to support discussions around patient recruitment/retention strategy
  • Additional Provisions, General Activities: Assist with special projects/assignments as needed: Participate in departmental meetings as needed: Assist with departmental procedural documentation and cross-functional training as needed
  • Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
